OK, so it has been nearly a month since I started the new site. Thing have gone over well and everyone seems to like the design and layout. Thank you all for the kind words, encouragement and support.

It has been asked if I will enter the GUI Championships this time around. If you recall I did enter in 2006 and actually took home the third place prize for Most Original Visual Style with the WindowBlind LORE. The answer to this question is I have plans to. However, given time restraints and so forth I am still unsure if I will complete the skin on time for it. If I do not you can still expect a premium quality skin to be coming soon that will be offered up for free. Trust me when I say I think your going to like it

As a side note, another Master skin is also in the works which should be available soon after the free skin is finished.

Lastly, our long drawn out Presidential race is over and I would like to extend my own personal congratulations to Barrack Obama. Wither you support the guy or not is of no main concern at this point. Our country is in a the depths of many different issues that need attention and we should support him.

Welcome to my ‘new’ home/domain/website

After a lot of time and energy the launch of this new site is official. The move to the new domain only made sense to me as the old domain skasch.com was a little obscure and a bit odd. skoriginals.net is easy to find and remember and I hope to be much more productive (not that the other domain wasn’t). You’ll also notice the use of WordPress, this also seemed much more logical as it presents itself to be very flexible. Now I’m no site coder but I think I know enough (especially with some help from people like BebiBulma, aka Steph) to get by. I honestly believe this is the best most efficient site I have had to date and am grateful. The desire is that you also find it to be so.

The goal of this site is to be the culmination of everything that is SK Originals. Here you will catch ALL of my activities from the free downloads, master skins, as well as my rants and other personal items. Over time there will also be exclusive content you can not get anywhere else, so look forward to that. This site is also a business tool where current and potential clients can catch information, see examples and for everyone to have an easy way to contact me.

Please note: The site is still under construction but most of the main items are in place and running. It should be near complete within the next week or two.

As promised the Wraith IconPackage. This was going to be just a mini-pack but ended up being alot more icons then I intended (it also took a little longer). But, I think its just that much more to enjoy… so… enjoy

The latest in the long beloved tradition of black skins has arrived. Wraith is a culmination of my own love of this style with a sinister feel. Its straight forward, in-your-face, non-distracting, uber usability is just plain cool. I know you’re going to like this as much as I do and as much as I enjoyed making it.

This is a fully skinned windowblind that works equally well with both Vista and XP. Wraith also includes a ‘Light Version’ substyle which has its own personal feel to it.
